The Short Fuse Workshop in Bournemouth

The refreshingly different 'anger management' workshop

We do not solicit feedback from people at the end of a workshop - because it's too soon. For the feedback to be valuable to others it needs to reflect what people have experienced 'down the road' i.e. after it has been tried and tested over a period of a couple of months.

(1) Well, what can I say?  The course has changed my life completely.  It has opened many doors for me.  I have contacted old school friends and spoken to them with new confidence.  (They used to really wind me up but I feel like I can tackle anything now!!!)

My Mum, sister and girlfriend have all noticed a dramatic change in me as have colleagues at work.  They say I have become more mature!!!

(Lawrence - May 2003 Course – in an August 2003 message to other participants).

(2) That course was the best thing to happen to me in years.  I feel relaxed for the first time in God knows how long. When I got home, although sceptical, my wife C___, gave me the benefit of the doubt, and things at home are now great best they have been since we got married.  C___ can now sit and have a conversation without fear of me jumping down her throat…

I am serving out in ___ at the moment and the guys who have worked with me before say that I am like a different bloke.

(Rob - May 2003 course – in an August 2003 message to other participants)

(3) Hello Reg,

Thank you. You have changed my life and you did it all in 2 days in a rainy Bournemouth. Pretty good going there! It's been about 3 months now and I just don't get angry like I used to. Of course this is an ongoing project and will be for the rest of my life but the signs are good and I'm a lot happier than I was.

I regularly catch myself being happy now even though the world appears to be pretty much the same uncompromising, irritating place it ever was...

(Email from O.A.D February 2003 course)

The last Short Fuse Workshop was in December 2005. Due to lack of available time the workshop is now 'on hold'.
