‘Experts know best’? Maybe, in some situations - and in health-care that is certainly what we are encouraged to believe.
We believe that, at times, it is very important to consult health care professionals - and to carefully evaluate their considered opinions. But we also believe that we each have a responsibility to be actively engaged in the maintenance and improvement of our own health.
This site is for people who aim to be actively involved in making decisions and taking action in their own lives; in how they think and feel - actively rather than as ‘patient patients’.
NLP & managing your moods
This section contains information about
In this site our premise is that our feelings or emotions are primarily the result of how we use out minds and our bodies.
So having better ways of managing both our physical state and our thinking is the prerequisite for being more in charge of our own feelings.
Many NLP insights and techniques are designed to provide us with tools with which to feel more in charge of our thoughts and feelings, more of the time.
The insights provided by NLP enable us to understand how our thoughts and emotions interact - and how we can influence this process in very practical ways.
In this and in our other site we provide information based on over 30 years of practical use of NLP in everyday life.
Information and tips for managing your thoughts and feelings more effectively - and for improving how you communicate with others - much of it with an NLP flavour, and all of it free.
No need to subscribe to gain access. Nor will you get hood-winked by half-articles that require you to ‘sign up now’ for the rest! And there are no adverts or pop-ups.
Why no catch? Because we want the information to be available to as many people as possible. The site is written by Reg Connolly; and it is sponsored by Pegasus NLP who run great NLP courses and training programmes in the UK.
