Information about Fear of Flying

It’s shared by about 1 person in 5 and it’s sometimes called air phobia, aerophobia, or flying nerves; fear of flying is an intense fear of travelling by plane - or even thinking of flying. that is shared by as many as 1 in 5 people.

People who have this fear usually know that flying is one of the safest forms of travel. But because fear of flying is a phobia - an irrational fear - no amount of facts, figures, or reassurance will convince them that flying is a safe way of travelling.
